A Note for Authors:
Please note, the deadline is Sept 22nd.
We are adding a Karaoke Bar. (Usually known as author’s choice.)
12 sessions per day. Right now just Friday and Saturday. We may add Thursday if necessary.
Half-hour each. Same time as regular panels. Signing in the karaoke room.
Half hour is self-contained to do anything (except break the law)
Groups okay, it’s your half hour.
We need a song title, brief description and who will be doing it.
First come, first serve.

Wow! What a great idea! I have to email Don Bruns to bring his guitar...there are so many of us who are musicians AND writers. This could be the start of another wonderful new tradition at Bouchercon! (warming up....)
Hm...it says to sign up by Sept 22nd...with whom? and how?
One thing that would help is putting up the author cancellations I'm going to have to spend hundreds of dollars to ship books and would really appreciate knowing who has cancelled.
I agree with needing an author cancellation list!!! I would prefer to ship only books when the author would actually be there.

Anybody got any ideas on how to go cheap that weekend? I'm going to be VERY tight on money...pay day isn't till the thursday AFTER I get back to Florida. Any ideas would be welcome....any help would be welcome....a contract would be even better!
