"Quality of Life"
So,
Yesterday I got my paperwork at work. For this year's Bouchercon I'm taking a quality of life leave. I am now officially excited. 12 more work days and we're in Baltimore.
Yeah! So no more second guessing or trying to throw more into the mix. There's some things I'm looking really forward to but I want to know what you all think is going to be your high light at Charmed to Death.....

Meeting the Jordans and Judy, eating crab, sitting at a table with Child and Crider, seeing my kid, browsing that bookroom.
I could be naughty and say cleaning out the basement. ;)
Truth is, it's always meeting new people, and one in particular I'm looking forward to meeting - Kaye in Boone!
Seeing you, Jon, Judy, Jennifer and the gang
Been a while

well, actually my highlight could be the look on Gary's face when he realizes I've been working on me poker skills :)
On a more serious note, I look forward to coming to this conference when I can afford it, because it's a way for this solitary writer to see I'm not the only crazy person who thinks they can make a living at this. I can't believe it's only a MONTH! away!
Totally looking forward to my panel, getting to meet fellow authors and hanging out with the Jordan clan!
It goes without saying that catching up with clan Jordan is the top of my list but also meeting again all those that I met at Chicago enjoying my panel and chilling out with the likes of Sarah Weinman, Mary Reagan and Annie. I can't wait!!!
The Jordan clan will be stronger by one in Baltimore as my Brother Paul is coming.
Ruth's Dad and her Aunt and Uncle are also coming.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Ayo and Ali and Sandra and Brian and meeting a bunch of folks I've only e-mailed with.
I love this time of year!
Talking, talking, talking! About books, about writing, about publishing, about life. And mostly adult conversation at that!
Plus being an Anthony nominee has me giddy already.
Not that I don't love the panels, and the banquet, and seeing a new city. Those are good, too.
Heck, it's all good.
12 days?
How in hell did that happen?
Sandra Ruttan! You little cutie!!!! I cannot WAIT to finally meet you too! I am over the moon about this whole B'Con thing! (in case there's anyone left on earth who hasn't heard me say that already). Meeting the famous Jordan clan is at the top of the list of fun things I want to do. And - oh laws, if I start naming names of all the people I'm dying to meet we'll all be here forever.
